About the role
The Senior Internal Audit Officer will support the Internal Audit function by conducting audit assignments across the bank, ensuring compliance with the approved audit plan, standards, and timelines.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing the annual audit plan and perform fieldwork according to the agreed scope.
- Document audit procedures, findings, and evidence in working papers and maintain them in the audit management system.
- Prepare clear audit observations for draft reports and discuss findings with senior audit staff.
- Support special assignments, investigations, and reviews of policies and SOPs as requested.
Required profile
- Degree in Accounting, Business Management or related field.
- 1–3 years of audit experience in a financial institution, large organization, or audit firm.
- Professional qualification such as CPA or CIA preferred.
- Good analytical skills and basic knowledge of accounting, business operations, and IT processes.
