Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join the audit team of a leading luxury fashion retail group operating in the UAE. The role will focus on delivering high‑quality audits, evaluating internal controls and identifying risk gaps across the organisation’s systems and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute audits in coordination with audit leadership, ensuring thorough documentation and reporting of compliance levels.
• Lead the development of the Annual Controls Review plan, incorporating audit risk assessments and key business inputs.
• Collaborate with management to define audit scopes and create detailed audit plans aligned with the annual audit calendar.
• Review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls, including fraud‑risk areas, against company policies and industry best practices.
• Communicate audit findings and risk recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA) or an MBA in Finance; CIA or CFE is a plus.
• Minimum five years of internal audit experience, preferably within retail or e‑commerce environments.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of retail and e‑commerce business operations.
• Advanced data‑analytics capabilities and experience with leading analytics tools.
