Senior IT Risk Specialist

About the role

The Senior IT Risk Specialist will lead the identification, assessment, monitoring and governance of technology risks across the organization’s entire IT landscape. This remote position works closely with technology and business leaders to strengthen controls, reduce material risk exposure and support strategic digital initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT risk‑management framework, including risk registers, assessment methodologies and remediation plans.
• Conduct risk assessments for new technologies, projects, vendors and business initiatives, evaluating inherent and residual risk.
• Monitor risk exposure, track remediation activities, and provide executive‑level reporting on risk trends, exceptions and emerging threats.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Third‑Party Risk Management and other stakeholders to evaluate cyber‑risk, cloud migration, data protection and technology resilience.
