Senior Learning Designer (UAE National) - Healthcare

About the role

A client of Black Pearl Consult, an integrated academic health system, is looking for a Senior Learning Designer who is a UAE national. The role develops high-quality learning experiences for faculty, healthcare professionals and the community by identifying needs, consulting with stakeholders, designing, implementing and evaluating solutions that support educational offerings in higher education and the healthcare sector. The work is based in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to inform the design of mission-critical learning programs, and design learning experiences grounded in evidence-based practice and aligned with organizational goals.
• Form and lead multidisciplinary teams, and collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create engaging learning content, including scripting, audio recordings and video production, aligned with learning objectives.
• Pilot learning solutions, gather feedback and refine them before final implementation.
• Oversee program implementation, monitor learner engagement and evaluate outcomes using structured feedback, making data-driven improvements.
• Participate in the delivery and facilitation of learning sessions.
• Contribute as a subject matter expert to the creation and enhancement of academic programs, serving on development task forces when required.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design or Educational Technology; a certification in Instructional Design is required if the Master's is in another discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of overall experience.
• Prior experience as a learning designer, instructional designer, course developer, facilitator or teacher.
• UAE nationals only.
