Senior Manager - Education & Community Engagement

About the role

A prestigious organization in the arts and culture sector, represented by its recruiter, is looking for a Senior Education Manager in Abu Dhabi. The role drives the strategic growth, planning and execution of educational and community engagement programmes, aligned with national education and cultural objectives and international best practice in arts education and creative learning. It covers programme, partnership and budget management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the department's strategic plan for education and community programmes, setting objectives, KPIs and milestones.
• Introduce innovative approaches to arts and cultural education, including digital learning.
• Build partnerships with educational institutions, cultural organisations and government bodies, and strengthen regional and international networks.
• Work with Programming, Cultural Affairs and Marketing to improve outreach and visibility.
• Oversee the department's budget and collaborate with Finance on forecasting, expenditure tracking and resource allocation.
• Supervise the planning, execution and evaluation of initiatives, using data and stakeholder feedback to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and mentor the Education and Community Outreach team, set performance frameworks and support professional development.
• Ensure compliance with national education and cultural policies and with regulations and contracts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Arts, Education, Cultural Management or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in leadership roles in arts education, cultural management or community engagement.
• Proven track record of implementing strategic plans with measurable results.
• Experience developing cross-sector collaborations.
• Only candidates currently residing in the UAE will be considered.
