Senior Legal Associate

About the role

Equiti, a fast‑growing fintech firm, is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Legal Associate to join its Dubai office. The role involves providing comprehensive legal support across corporate, commercial and regulatory matters within a dynamic, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on and support a wide range of corporate, commercial and regulatory issues.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial, corporate, financial services, technology agreements and regulatory filings.
• Support licensing, regulatory compliance, governance matters and investigations.
• Assist with M&A transactions, due diligence and related documentation.
• Provide legal support for fund management, investment structures and fintech services.
• Handle pre‑litigation matters, client disputes and regulatory investigations.
• Advise on employment law, contracts, policies and workforce issues.
• Support intellectual property protection, brand management and related agreements.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise stakeholders.
• Collaborate with external counsel and manage cross‑border legal projects.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 3–5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Dual fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Training or experience at an international or top‑tier law firm.
• Strong drafting, analytical, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commercial mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
