Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

The Senior Legal Counsel will act as a key advisor on complex legal matters for both individual and corporate clients. This full‑time, on‑site position in Dubai requires close collaboration with partners, associates and clients to deliver high‑quality, timely legal services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal consultations and practical advice across corporate, commercial and dispute‑resolution matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Assess legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage litigation and dispute‑resolution processes, including coordination with external parties and authorities.
• Oversee case files, documentation and court submissions.
• Support corporate and commercial transactions, compliance frameworks and corporate governance.
• Participate in arbitration and mediation proceedings as required.

Required profile

• Law degree from an accredited institution and a license to practice law.
• Several years of post‑qualification experience in a law firm or in‑house role, preferably within the UAE/GCC.
• Strong foundation in corporate, commercial and dispute‑resolution law.
• Proven ability to provide clear, practical legal advice to diverse clients.
• Excellent advocacy and negotiation skills.
