Senior Logistics Manager

About the role

Julphar is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to lead the strategic direction and operational excellence of its warehouse and distribution centre network across multiple locations. The role will drive digitalisation, automation and continuous improvement to align logistics performance with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a long‑term logistics strategy that supports organisational goals.
• Champion the adoption of advanced warehouse technologies such as automation, robotics, and integrated WMS/ERP systems.
• Lead large‑scale projects including expansion, consolidation and process re‑engineering.
• Set, monitor and report KPIs for cost, service level, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee multi‑warehouse and distribution centre operations, harmonising SOPs and best practices.
• Manage risk, business continuity and crisis response for logistics activities.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, GSP, EHS and other relevant standards, leading audits and remediation.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing logistics leadership team and drive succession planning.
• Represent logistics in executive forums and manage relationships with vendors, regulators and logistics providers.
• Drive sustainability initiatives such as green logistics and waste reduction while overseeing budget planning.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in logistics, warehousing or supply‑chain management, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Strong track record of leading digital transformation and automation projects.
• Excellent leadership, change‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of regulatory requirements (cGMP, GDP, GSP, EHS).
• Ability to develop and manage budgets and drive financial performance.
