Senior Management Accountant – Hotel Group

About the role

We are partnering with a leading hotel group in Abu Dhabi to hire a Senior Management Accountant. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial information, supporting commercial decisions and driving performance across multiple hotel entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare timely monthly management accounts for several hotels.
• Lead the month‑end close, meeting all reporting deadlines.
• Produce variance analysis with clear commentary against budget and forecast.
• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting in collaboration with operational teams.
• Provide financial insight to hotel management to aid commercial decision‑making.
• Monitor revenue, payroll and operating costs, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
• Review balance‑sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.
• Assist statutory audits and ensure audit‑ready financial data.
• Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes and system efficiencies.
• Mentor junior finance staff as needed.

Required profile

• Significant experience as a Senior Management Accountant or similar role within the hotel industry.
• Fully or part‑qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent experience).
• Proven ability to prepare multi‑entity management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
• Strong analytical capability and understanding of financial controls.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Sun, NetSuite or Sage.
