Senior Manager – Financial Institutions Value-Added Services

About the role

The FI-VAS (Financial Institutions - Value-Added Services) professional works in the Wholesale Banking / Financial Institutions group in Abu Dhabi. The role drives business growth, manages strategic relationships with financial institution clients and promotes value-added banking solutions such as payments, transaction banking, trade services, digital banking, cash management, correspondent banking and treasury solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of banking experience, with at least 5 years in Financial Institutions Coverage, Transaction Banking, Correspondent Banking, Payments or Cash Management.
• Experience working with banks, financial institutions, fintechs or payment service providers.
• Strong understanding of wholesale banking products and services.

Required skills

• Expertise in financial institutions coverage, business development, solution sales and stakeholder management.
• Technical knowledge of the financial institutions business model, correspondent banking, transaction banking, cash management, payments and receivables solutions, trade finance, treasury and foreign exchange, SWIFT network, API banking and digital solutions, and AML/KYC compliance requirements.
