Senior Manager – Infrastructure (Transportation)

About the role

Lead the development and delivery of transport planning strategies and traffic engineering solutions for a portfolio of masterplans and land development projects. Serve as the primary liaison with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to secure approvals, manage cost‑sharing agreements and ensure compliance with local standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with RTA on approvals, studies and cost‑sharing matters, tracking payments and reporting status bi‑monthly.
• Direct preparation and review of traffic impact assessments and studies for new developments and masterplan changes.
• Provide technical guidance on traffic engineering inputs, junction and signal design, and risk management across infrastructure projects.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external consultants and government entities to integrate transport considerations early in project planning.
• Establish a system to identify land‑use changes and submit updates to RTA at least twice a year to avoid NOC delays.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s (and preferably Master’s) degree in Transportation Planning or Traffic Engineering.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in the Middle East.
• Proven ability to develop, evaluate and approve traffic studies for new developments and masterplan changes.
• Strong project and budget management skills within large infrastructure programmes.
