Senior Manager – Internal Audit & Management Control

About the role

Whitehall & Company is seeking a senior professional to lead internal audit and management control functions across its growing international network. Based in Dubai, you will act as the finance function’s representative to ensure quality, profitability, and operational efficiency of client engagements and internal operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review the quality of accounting, bookkeeping, VAT and corporate tax work delivered by accounting teams.
• Evaluate client and engagement profitability and analyse project performance across service lines and jurisdictions.
• Monitor employee productivity, utilization and efficiency metrics.
• Develop and maintain management reporting dashboards and KPIs.
• Conduct internal audits, operational reviews and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support implementation of quality management systems and internal controls.
• Collaborate with senior management on strategic and operational decision‑making.

Required profile

• ACCA qualified (mandatory).
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in audit, assurance, financial control, management accounting or business performance management.
• Strong understanding of IFRS.
• Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to challenge processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience in professional services, consulting, accounting or audit environments is highly desirable.
