Senior Manager People Experience – Middle East & Africa

About the role

Edelman is seeking a senior leader to own the end‑to‑end People Experience for the Middle East and Africa region. The role integrates People Operations, Employee Relations and Enablement to deliver a seamless, compliant and high‑impact HR service model.

Key responsibilities

• Lead People Operations across assigned markets, ensuring excellence in the employee lifecycle (joiners, movers, leavers) and maintaining data integrity in Workday.
• Oversee Employee Relations, triaging complex cases, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and aligning with EMEA and global ER standards.
• Partner with the Enablement Lead to roll out HR systems (Workday, People Portal), new processes and service models, driving automation and continuous improvement.
• Act as a bridge between global People strategy and regional execution, adapting delivery to local legislation and cultural nuances.
• Provide coaching and training to local leadership on best practices in employee relations and people operations.

Required profile

• Senior HR professional with extensive experience in People Operations, Employee Relations and HR transformation.
• Strong knowledge of labour legislation across Middle East and Africa markets.
• Proven ability to manage high‑risk cases, influence senior stakeholders and drive regional HR initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on data integrity.
