Senior Manager – Project Cargo

About the role

An experienced senior Operations Country Manager is needed to lead Project Solutions operations in the UAE, combining operational leadership, commercial ownership, and contract management to deliver complex logistics projects profitably.

Key responsibilities

• Lead country‑level project logistics operations, ensuring efficient and profitable execution.
• Oversee end‑to‑end project coordination, monitor budgets, control costs, and manage variation orders.
• Maintain compliance with client contracts, mitigate contractual risks, and manage insurance claims.
• Drive a commercial mindset within the team, ensuring cost control, accurate CargoWise reporting, and alignment between operations, finance, and commercial functions.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in project logistics/EPC coordination with a proven track record in operational leadership and cost control.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong financial mindset, experience managing project budgets, P&L, and contract negotiations.

Required skills

• High proficiency in CargoWise ERP for job costing and financial tracking.
• Expertise in multimodal transport, heavy‑lift operations, and insurance management in logistics projects.
• Knowledge of invoicing control, revenue tracking, and contractual/commercial terms in project logistics.
