Senior Manager – Quantity Surveying

About the role

Transguard Workforce Solutions is recruiting a Senior Manager – Quantity Surveying for a client in Dubai on a 13‑month fixed‑term contract. The role leads quantity surveying and cost engineering activities across development projects, ensuring accurate cost management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of project estimates, cost plans, budgets and cost evaluations, applying consistent methodologies.
• Manage contract administration including variations, claims, contractual correspondence and final accounts, providing commercially sound recommendations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate cost, contractual and project‑related risks, escalating material exposures as needed.
• Oversee cost forecasting, variation and claims reporting, monitoring performance and supporting project controls.
• Coordinate quantity surveying resources, allocate workload, ensure technical quality and collaborate with project teams, procurement, finance, legal and contractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, Cost Engineering or related field.
• RICS or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• 6‑7 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost engineering, preferably on projects above AED 500 million.
• Experience in aviation, infrastructure or large‑scale construction projects in the UAE.
