Senior Manager - Talent Management

About the role

Black Pearl is partnering with a renowned organization in the UAE to recruit a Senior Manager - HR Talent Management. This is a stand-alone role reporting directly to the VP of HR, where the successful candidate will develop and implement talent management strategies from the ground up. The position is full-time and based in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Talent acquisition and development: identify, attract and develop top talent through recruitment, onboarding and continuous employee development programs.
• Performance management: design and implement performance management systems aligned with organizational goals.
• Policies and processes: write and implement talent management policies and processes.
• Talent retention: run programs to retain top performers, including career development, succession planning and engagement initiatives.
• Leadership development: create programs to turn high-potential employees into leaders.
• Change management: support HR initiatives and lead efforts to manage organizational change and improve workplace culture.
• Training and development: work with the Learning & Development teams to deliver training programs.
• Data analysis and reporting: report regularly to senior leadership on recruitment, development and retention metrics.
• Collaboration: partner with senior leadership and other departments so HR strategy matches business needs.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of work experience, including 3-5 years in a managerial role in talent management, performance management or organizational development.
• Ideal background in power, energy, EPC or multinational companies.
• Strong understanding of HR policies, practices and procedures, especially in talent management.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing talent management programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and the ability to work independently and manage projects from concept to completion.
• Based in the UAE.
