Senior Marketing Executive

About the role

University Hospital Sharjah is looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to develop and run marketing campaigns that promote the hospital's services. The role covers planning, advertising, public relations, event organisation, product development, distribution, sponsorship and research, and reports to the CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate, implement and manage the marketing strategic plan for the hospital.
• Assist the CEO and Board of Directors in developing and implementing the Strategic Plan, focusing on marketing opportunities and innovative strategies.
• Improve communications with external media channels and pursue new media channels to deepen market penetration among targeted customers.
• Strengthen corporate relationships with existing accounts and seek community sponsorship opportunities.
• Develop actions to increase patient volumes at key entry points such as the Emergency Department, Pediatrics and OB/GYN.
• Assist the Director of Clinic Operations in promoting new physicians to community physicians and referral sources.
• Lead and implement market research projects as needed.
• Manage the departmental budget to control costs and improve revenue against annual targets.
• Act as a consultant to committees and departments on marketing matters and help manage the department efficiently.
• Organise sponsorship and participation in conferences, seminars and other marketing events with the CEO's approval.

Required profile

• A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in healthcare or a related field.
• Ability to accept delegated assignments and take on additional tasks.
