Senior Mechanical Engineer – HVAC & Ventilation

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Dubai team, focusing on the design and optimisation of HVAC and ventilation systems for large‑scale projects. The role involves delivering technically sound, cost‑effective solutions while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise HVAC, ventilation and fan systems in accordance with project specifications and international standards.
• Create detailed mechanical drawings and 2D/3D models using CAD tools.
• Perform calculations, simulations and value‑engineering studies.
• Prepare technical documentation, support tenders and proposals, and conduct design reviews.
• Coordinate with sales, production, installation and quality teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support R&D activities.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors during design, installation and commissioning phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in HVAC or ventilation system design and application.
• Hands‑on experience with mechanical component selection for fans, ducting and related assemblies.
• Demonstrated project‑management capabilities, including planning and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience in research and development, testing and continuous improvement of mechanical products.
• Familiarity with international standards and certifications such as AMCA, CE and ISO.
