Senior Mechanical Maintenance Technician – Static Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Technician to lead the upkeep of static equipment at ADNOC offshore facilities. The role involves hands‑on maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and supporting shutdown, commissioning and start‑up activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on vessels, tanks, columns, exchangers and associated piping.
• Carry out inspections, gasket replacement, bolt tightening, leak repair, flange and nozzle management, and fit‑ups.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, reassemble and test equipment such as air coolers, strainers, filters, receivers and pig traps.
• Support integrity inspections, thickness checks, corrosion reporting and confined‑space entry during shutdowns.
• Diagnose failures, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions for valves, piping and utility packages.
• Participate in commissioning, startup and project hand‑over, reviewing documentation and completing punch lists.
• Execute predictive and preventive tasks – temperature monitoring, leak detection, basic vibration checks, lubrication and structural inspections – following MAXIMO schedules.
• Manage spares, tools and equipment, including hydro‑testing, pneumatic testing and pressure testing under supervision.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in mechanical maintenance of static equipment in an offshore or industrial environment.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in confined spaces.
• Proven ability to mentor junior technicians and act as a senior technical resource.
• Familiarity with maintenance planning systems such as MAXIMO.
