Senior OCS/SCADA Engineer – Rail Infrastructure

About the role

Sener is seeking a Senior Operational Control System (OCS) / SCADA Engineer to join its UAE team. The engineer will provide technical expertise across design review, installation, integration, testing and commissioning for complex rail and metro projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review OCS/SCADA system designs, architectures, technical specifications, drawings and supplier documentation.
• Assess contractor and system integrator submissions for compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate OCS/SCADA interfaces with signalling, telecommunications, traction power, MEP, cybersecurity, rolling stock and other railway systems.
• Support and verify OCS/SCADA installation activities against approved designs.
• Participate in system integration, testing, commissioning and technical verification.
• Identify and resolve technical, interface and integration issues throughout project delivery.
• Lead design reviews, technical workshops, interface meetings and provide guidance on railway standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control Systems, Automation or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience, including mandatory rail systems experience.
• Proven experience with Hitachi/Thales OCS/SCADA solutions; experience on Dubai Metro projects is a plus.
