Senior Oracle DBA Engineer – Automation

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Oracle DBA Engineer with deep expertise in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and automation. The role will support multiple technology projects across a large‑scale enterprise environment, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and seamless migrations on both OCI and AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available Oracle RAC and Data Guard environments.
• Perform advanced performance tuning, SQL optimization, and workload analysis.
• Manage backup, recovery, and restore operations using RMAN.
• Plan and execute database patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance.
• Lead database migrations across on‑premise, OCI, and AWS platforms with minimal disruption.
• Automate repetitive DBA tasks using Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Groovy, Bash, and Python.
• Monitor databases via Oracle Enterprise Manager and resolve complex production issues.
• Collaborate with multiple project teams and support out‑of‑hours activities when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on Oracle database administration experience.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Experience with cloud environments (OCI, AWS) and automation frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
