Senior Paint Restoration Assistant

About the role

The Senior Paint Restoration Assistant supports the Aircraft Appearance Centre in maintaining and refurbishing aircraft interior and exterior finishes, ensuring high‑quality surface restoration in a climate‑controlled paint hangar.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure availability of tools and consumables.
• Identify cabin areas prone to damage, determine causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare, paint, and finish aircraft panels and components according to approved procedures.
• Oversee post‑painting housekeeping, equipment cleaning, and hangar maintenance.
• Support modification campaigns by monitoring new surface finishes and reporting updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in engineering, automotive or a maintenance organisation.
• Knowledge of aircraft manuals, general repair manuals and engineering drawings related to paint finishes.
• Understanding of coating systems, mixing ratios, induction times and viscosity requirements.
