Senior PR Account Executive (F&B)

About the role

Umami Comms DMCC is looking for a Senior PR Account Executive in Dubai to manage the day-to-day execution of public relations campaigns and maintain client relationships. The role works closely with junior staff to provide mentorship and guidance, and focuses on the F&B sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute PR and media strategies for F&B clients, keeping communication consistent with each client's vision
• Run press conferences, media briefings, analyst meetings and media tours, and contribute to media relations campaigns
• Pitch trade and consumer reporters, build relationships with editors and journalists, and write news releases, invites, Q&As, features and bios
• Organise media events, prepare brief documents, interview prep and media training, and measure campaign success through media monitoring
• Draft PR materials such as press releases and backgrounders, edit junior staff's writing, and help with research and KOL identification
• Manage projects, deliver on time, present client plans, supervise juniors and own client relationships on specific projects
• Build relationships with F&B experts, tastemakers, thought leaders, media and agencies

Required profile

• Preferably a Bachelor's degree in marketing and communications
• 2 to 3 years of PR experience in a PR agency or in-house setting; F&B brand experience preferred
• Strong relationships with local and national business and industry media
• Excellent written and verbal English; Arabic is a plus
