Senior Pre-Sales Consultant

About the role

The Senior Pre‑Sales Consultant will partner with the sales team to shape technical solutions that meet client needs. Acting as a technical authority, you will design architectures, respond to bid requests and guide customers through complex network and security offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed solution designs, architectures and proposals for new systems.
• Review and document existing processes, evaluate software products, and ensure alignment with client requirements.
• Manage the bid process, responding to RFIs/RFPs and creating technical bid packages.
• Coordinate with vendors, select optimal solutions, and schedule resources for implementation.
• Lead technical sales calls, workshops, demonstrations and proof‑of‑concept engagements.
• Stay updated on market trends, product developments and competitor activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in pre‑sales, solutions architecture or a similar customer‑facing technical role.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven track record of translating business challenges into effective technical solutions.
• Experience in coaching and developing junior team members.

Required skills

• Network design and security solution expertise.
• Solution architecture and Bill of Quantities (BoQ) preparation.
• RFI/RFP response and vendor evaluation.
• Technical workshops, demonstrations and Proof‑of‑Concept (PoC) execution.
• Technical sales call facilitation.
