Senior Principal Package Management Specialist

About the role

The Senior Principal Package Management Specialist solves complex, business‑wide challenges in package management, influencing resource allocation and program direction across the supply chain function.

Key responsibilities

• Take full delivery ownership of high‑value purchase orders or sub‑contracts, coordinating engineering, supply chain, QHSES and suppliers to meet schedule and budget.
• Identify, document, quantify and manage risks related to package delivery, maintaining accurate cost accounting and forecasts.
• Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, arranging status meetings, managing escalations and ensuring compliance with contracts and change processes.
• Develop contingency plans, capture lessons learned and oversee handover of vendor documentation.
• Lead and allocate resources for the package team, monitor cost performance and drive resolution of cross‑functional issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• 10‑16 years of relevant experience with strong commercial, technical and business acumen.
• Deep knowledge of prime and vendor contractual obligations and package management processes.
• Proven ability to manage large, multi‑discipline project packages and lead vendor relationships.
