Senior Procurement Engineer - HVAC/MEP

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a Senior Procurement Engineer in Dubai for the HVAC/MEP contracting industry. The role manages and optimizes the procurement process, sourcing, negotiating and securing materials and services to meet project requirements while keeping costs under control and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Work with project managers to understand material needs, delivery schedules and budget constraints.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials while maintaining cost controls and quality standards.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and follow industry trends.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor and assess supplier performance and address issues promptly.
• Resolve procurement challenges with the project team and stay up to date on industry regulations and standards.
• Manage and update procurement databases and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 6-8 years of proven experience as a Procurement Engineer.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience in the HVAC/MEP contracting industry in the UAE.
• Strong written and spoken English.
