Senior Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager supports ongoing and upcoming procurement packages across BEYOND's commercial development portfolio. The role manages the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing while keeping alignment with project requirements and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Commercial Director, Procurement Manager and Development Team on project timelines, scope and budget requirements.
• Help develop the procurement strategy for each package, including long-lead items, critical path packages and early procurement needs.
• Prepare and issue detailed Requests for Proposals (RFPs) with scope of work, commercial conditions, technical requirements, BOQs, drawings and other documents.
• Maintain a database of prequalified vendors and identify new suppliers and contractors as needed.
• Carry out bid evaluations, including commercial analysis, cost comparison sheets, revisions of resource plans, timelines and payment terms.
• Develop detailed Price Technical Comparisons (PTCs) combining commercial and technical feedback.
• Work with the technical team to validate scope completeness and identify exclusions, deviations or value engineering opportunities.
• Advise the Development and Commercial teams on bid outcomes and preferred bidders, and follow up with contractors, consultants and suppliers on bids, clarifications and post-award documents.
• Liaise with Legal, Finance, Design and Project Management on contract terms, payment milestones and deliverables, and support Letters of Award and final contracts.
• Maintain a procurement log and keep all procurement files complete, accurate and organised for audits.
• Build strong relationships with key vendors, suppliers and contractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil, Mechanical, Architectural or Construction Management.
• 5 to 6 years of hands-on procurement experience with contractors or real estate developers.
