Senior Product Owner

About the role

SBS is looking for a Senior Product Owner to lead the AI use‑case backlog for its digital banking platform. You will bridge the gap between product squads, the AI Platform team and engineering, ensuring AI solutions move from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Own the AI use‑case backlog: discover, validate, prioritize, and sequence use cases across multiple banking domains.
• Translate use cases into engineering‑ready specifications with clear acceptance criteria, evaluation metrics and guardrails.
• Act as the liaison between product squads, the SBS AI Platform team and the AI Council.
• Run post‑launch feedback loops covering adoption, quality, drift and iterative improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product ownership or product engineering experience, with 1–2 years focused on AI/ML‑powered products.
• Hands‑on experience with large language models (LLMs) and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG).
• Banking or financial‑services domain knowledge, preferably in payments, KYC/AML or related areas.
• Strong backlog discipline and ability to write precise technical specifications.
