Senior Project Control Engineer

About the role

The Senior Project Control Engineer supports Abu Dhabi Airports' Capital Projects & Construction division by overseeing project controls, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met, and providing analytical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 to guarantee timely delivery.
• Assist in budget preparation, track expenditures, and implement cost control measures through relevant software.
• Identify risks, evaluate impacts, and devise mitigation strategies.
• Prepare performance reports and dashboards covering progress, budget status, and risk assessments using Power BI.
• Coordinate communication between contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure compliance with HSE policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project controls, scheduling, or management within construction or aviation.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCE, or PSP are preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI, PRISM, and ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
