Senior Project Controls Manager – PMC

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls Manager for its PMC team in Abu Dhabi, supporting large‑scale oil and gas projects. The role ensures that project cost, schedule, contracts and reporting meet the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and enforce project services and controls procedures, coordinating with the IPMT Business Team.
• Lead preparation of the annual Business Plan, budgets and management reports in partnership with the Project Support Manager.
• Oversee cost and schedule estimates, risk registers and provide analysis to support decision‑making.
• Manage EPC contractor performance against cost, schedule, contract and procurement guidelines.
• Direct procurement activities, tender evaluations and contract administration, including ExxonMobil Master Technical Agreement processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Proven ability to work with multi‑national, multi‑cultural project teams.
