Senior Project Manager – Design

About the role

The Senior Project Manager – Design will lead the planning, design, coordination and delivery of large‑scale infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi, ensuring compliance with client requirements, regulatory standards and industry best practices. You will provide strategic direction and technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee planning, design, procurement, construction and delivery of large infrastructure and marine works, keeping projects on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
• Manage contracts with external vendors, conduct feasibility studies, cost‑benefit analyses and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks; resolve issues that arise during delivery.
• Engage with clients, government agencies and other stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and ensure alignment with regulations.
• Prepare progress reports and communication materials for key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in infrastructure design and construction management, with at least 5 years in the GCC.
• Proven background in roads, utilities, urban development and PMC/consultancy environments.
