Senior Project Manager – Elevators & Escalators

About the role

The Senior Project Manager based in Dubai reports to the Head of Delivery Operations Manager and is accountable for the successful delivery of elevator and escalator projects. The role ensures tight control of scope, schedule and budget while driving high customer satisfaction and protecting KONE’s profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Own project scope, schedule and budget, delivering within contractual requirements and KONE objectives.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead integrated project planning with customers and KONE full‑chain teams.
• Monitor and control project deliverables, ensuring continuous alignment with the project plan.
• Conduct project start‑up, reviews, reporting and governance activities.
• Communicate project status and progress to KONE management and customers.
• Identify, mitigate and plan for operational and financial risks, including contingency actions.
• Oversee financial planning, forecasting, cash‑flow and revenue management.
• Drive quality handover from Sales to Operations and manage project close‑out activities.
• Maintain master action logs, lessons learned and ensure adequate resourcing and competencies.
• Promote safety and security awareness among project staff and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of project management experience, preferably in the elevator industry.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Arabic.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale projects successfully.
