Senior Project Manager – Schools & Community Buildings

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of ADEK school projects and community buildings in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Programme Director, you will oversee the full project lifecycle from pre‑contract stages through design, construction and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Implement a high‑level project management framework and develop the project execution plan.
• Define, monitor and control the master programme, ensuring alignment with the project WBS and schedule.
• Lead risk management processes, chair risk meetings and drive mitigation strategies.
• Manage relationships with all stakeholders, including design teams, contractors, supervision consultants and the client.
• Oversee contract administration, claims protection and commercial performance, including budget control and value management.
• Provide people management, mentorship and performance reviews for the project team.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in large‑scale community and school projects, with recent ADEK school delivery.
• Degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture or project management.
• Membership or chartership with a recognised construction professional body.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and act as the single point of contact between programme director and delivery teams.
