Senior QA Engineer

About the role

Edge Corporation is looking for a detail‑oriented Senior QA Engineer with 6–8 years of experience to ensure the delivery of high‑quality software products. The role involves testing web and mobile applications, automating test suites, and contributing to AI/ML testing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑to‑end testing of web and mobile applications across browsers and devices.
• Execute front‑end UI testing to validate responsiveness, usability, and visual consistency.
• Conduct manual testing using proxy tools such as Proxyman or Charles to inspect network traffic.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts with Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and Python.
• Design and run performance and load tests using JMeter.
• Perform API testing (REST/GraphQL) with Postman and validate functionality, reliability, and security.
• Carry out database testing using SQL queries to verify data integrity.
• Participate in AI/ML testing, including model output validation and bias detection.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps in an Agile environment.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and contribute to test planning and QA process improvement.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong expertise in UI testing for both web and mobile platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Appium, Playwright) and Python scripting.
• Experience with performance testing (JMeter) and API testing (Postman, REST/GraphQL).
• Good knowledge of database testing and SQL.
• Familiarity with proxy/interceptor tools such as Proxyman or Charles.
• Exposure to AI/ML testing concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
