Senior QA/QC Engineer

About the role

CSCEC ME is seeking an experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer to join its Quality Team on a large‑scale construction project in Dubai. You will be responsible for ensuring that all works meet the highest quality standards through rigorous inspection, testing and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit method statements and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
• Conduct civil, architectural and interior design inspections, including material checks.
• Develop training plans for trades before site activities commence.
• Monitor inspections and testing to ensure compliance with approved ITPs.
• Oversee calibration of tools and equipment on site.
• Raise internal NCRs and quality verifications, and manage their closure.
• Produce monthly QA/QC and KPI reports.
• Liaise with consultants to resolve quality issues and close NCRs.
• Record and follow up on snagging and de‑snagging works.
• Prepare hand‑over documentation and maintain QA/QC records in the IMS system.
• Coordinate with the corporate QHSE department for internal and external audits.
• Support the construction teams in understanding testing criteria before work starts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction.
• Proven ability to work on large‑scale projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
