Senior QA/QC Engineer – Offshore Project

About the role

KBR is expanding its Project Management Consultancy team for a high‑profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The Senior QA/QC Engineer will lead the implementation and monitoring of the Project Quality Management System, ensuring all engineering, procurement, construction, fabrication, installation and commissioning activities meet ADNOC Offshore requirements and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001, ADNOC Offshore specifications and project requirements.
• Review and approve Project Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans, Method Statements and Quality Procedures.
• Conduct quality surveillance of fabrication, construction, installation and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate inspections and audits with ADNOC Offshore representatives, third‑party inspectors and subcontractors.
• Witness and document testing activities such as hydro‑testing, pressure testing, NDT, welding and coating inspections.
• Support the Project Quality Manager in achieving quality KPIs and objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years (180 months) of experience in QA/QC for offshore or large‑scale industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC Offshore standards and ISO 9001.
• Proven ability to lead quality teams and interact with client and regulatory representatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, especially in root‑cause analysis.
