Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Immensa is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead and continuously improve its Integrated Management System (IMS) covering ISO 9001, ISO 29001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. The role ensures quality, environmental and health‑&‑safety standards are embedded in daily operations across production, engineering and supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the IMS, including procedures, control plans, traceability and calibration.
• Plan, conduct and report internal audits for all four IMS standards and manage customer audits from preparation to corrective action closure.
• Lead surveillance and recertification audits with certification bodies, keeping the company audit‑ready year‑round.
• Own the NCR and CAPA process, performing root‑cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone) and ensuring verified closure.
• Support part qualification and AMC certification against standards such as API 20S, DNV and ASTM/ISO AM.
• Qualify, audit and monitor suppliers, using scorecards and escalation procedures.
• Track and report quality KPIs (First Pass Yield, customer escapes, NCR aging, CAPA effectiveness) and train cross‑functional teams to foster a strong quality culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• 7–10 years of QA experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
• Hands‑on experience implementing and auditing an IMS to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001; ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
• Proven track record of conducting internal audits and hosting customer/certification body audits with minimal major findings.
• Strong documentation, reporting and communication skills.
