Senior Quantity Surveying Engineer

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveying Engineer in Abu Dhabi. The role handles advanced commercial management of construction projects, including take-offs, interim payments and variation assessments, while ensuring compliance with contractual terms and supporting junior quantity surveying engineers in a project-based setup.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs in line with drawings and specifications.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier invoices.
• Prepare interim payments and commercial documentation.
• Prepare variation assessments and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Guide and mentor quantity surveying engineers.
• Work with planning, procurement and site teams to ensure cost efficiency.
• Maintain well-documented records for contractual purposes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
• At least 4 years of solid experience in construction quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration (FIDIC, local standards).
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills, strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in QS software such as MS Excel and AutoCAD.
