Senior Radiographer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Radiographer to lead diagnostic imaging services across our remote operations in the UAE. The role involves performing a range of imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the radiology department’s efficiency and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X‑ray, CT, MRI and other approved modalities.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, ensure correct identification, positioning and radiation safety.
• Operate imaging equipment according to protocols and optimise image quality while minimising dose.
• Review images for technical adequacy, arrange repeat scans when clinically justified, and maintain detailed documentation.
• Maintain equipment, quality‑control records and support infection‑prevention and patient‑confidentiality measures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Guide junior radiographers and assist with staff training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or recognised qualification in Radiography or Medical Imaging.
• Significant professional experience in diagnostic imaging with senior‑level responsibilities.
• Valid UAE licence (DOH, DHA or MOHAP) appropriate to the employing facility.
• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, radiation protection and patient care.
