Senior Sales Engineer – Dedrone (Meta)

About the role

Axon is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead pre‑sales technical engagements for the Dedrone airspace security solution. The role is remote with up to 50 % travel and reports to the Director of Sales Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Master Dedrone technology and lead business and technical presentations for customers and partners.
• Conduct technical conversations with IT leaders, CIOs, and channel partners, setting and managing expectations throughout the pre‑sales cycle.
• Provide first‑level technical support, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and position the solution against competitors.
• Coordinate proof‑of‑concept and pilot projects, including logistics, configuration, and outcome reporting.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, capture feature requests, and create Statements of Work for professional services.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel up to 50 % of the time.
• Associate degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or 5 + years relevant experience.
• 3‑5 years of customer‑facing pre‑sales or consulting experience, preferably selling SaaS solutions.
• Strong presentation skills, intellectual curiosity, and ability to work independently while collaborating across functions.
