Senior Sales Engineer - HVAC Spare Parts

About the role

Carrier, a global provider of HVAC, refrigeration, fire, security and cold chain solutions, is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer for its HVAC spare parts business in Dubai, UAE. The role drives sales growth, builds strong customer relationships, uncovers new business opportunities and provides technically appropriate solutions to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets for HVAC spare parts.
• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities across the Dubai and UAE market.
• Manage and grow relationships with contractors, consultants, facility management companies, building owners, MEP companies and other HVAC customers.
• Recommend suitable spare parts and solutions, and proactively identify replacement, maintenance, retrofit and aftermarket needs.
• Prepare quotations, commercial proposals and tender responses, follow them up and negotiate to close sales.
• Maintain a pipeline of prospects, monitor market trends and competitors, and forecast sales.
• Conduct customer visits and product presentations, attend exhibitions and trade shows, and support business development initiatives.
• Work with technical, procurement, logistics and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC equipment and/or spare parts sales, with strong, demonstrable experience in spare parts sales.
• Experience in the UAE HVAC market, preferably with an established customer network in Dubai.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
• Preferred: experience with contractors, consultants, facility managers and building owners, and HVAC-related technical certifications.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, components and spare parts.
• Quotation, tender, proposal and negotiation skills.
• CRM and sales management software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
