Senior Sales Executive - Marine

About the role

A consultancy is hiring a Senior Sales Executive for its marine business, based in Ajman. The role targets key marine segments such as automation and calibration, LSA, FFA, fire and gas detection systems, marine safety equipment, firefighting and rescue equipment, life rafts, lifeboats and life-saving and survival equipment. Candidates must be based in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans for the listed marine segments.
• Identify, qualify and pursue new business with shipowners, ship managers, offshore operators, port authorities and government entities.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking and social media outreach.
• Set up meetings, build client relationships and negotiate and close deals.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet monthly and annual revenue targets.
• Represent the company at industry exhibitions and conferences.
• Support the planning and rollout of marketing campaigns across digital, print and event channels.

Required profile

• Minimum 3-5 years of proven sales and marketing experience in the marine, offshore or related industrial sector.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, able to deal with foreign customers.
• Sound understanding of marine industry products and services.
• Ability to meet sales targets individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
• UAE driving licence is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of MS Office and CRM software.
