About the role
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Senior Sales Manager – Leisure drives sales activities, builds client relationships and maximises revenue for the leisure segment of Grand Mercure Dubai City.
Key responsibilities
- Generate and maintain a portfolio of travel trade customers through face‑to‑face meetings, calls and entertainment events.
- Provide comprehensive coverage of all hotel departments, manage accounts and achieve sales targets.
- Submit weekly sales activity reports and develop action plans for prospect accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competition and client feedback to adjust sales strategies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum three years of similar hospitality sales experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of legal contract language and proven team‑leadership abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong use of Microsoft Outlook for communication and reporting.
