About the role
Penspen is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduling & Planning Engineer to join its offshore project controls team for an oil & gas facility in the Eastern Region of Abu Dhabi.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the project controls team across multiple projects.
- Provide project control support to the Project Management team, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Review early‑stage deliverables (FEL1 and FEL2) for cost, schedule and risk.
- Develop and maintain detailed schedules for engineering, procurement, fabrication, load‑out and installation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years of EPC project experience.
- At least 10 years of offshore fabrication project controls and planning experience.
- Advanced user of Primavera P6.
Required skills
- Primavera P6 scheduling.
- Offshore jacket fabrication planning.
- Progress measurement and earned value management.
- Critical path analysis and recovery schedule development.
- Weekly and monthly progress reporting, resource loading and productivity monitoring.
