Senior SCM Specialist

About the role

Subsea7 is seeking a Senior SCM Specialist to lead the procurement of complex engineered materials and services for major projects. The role ensures that all deliveries meet technical specifications, safety standards, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate pre‑award activities with engineering, QA, QC, and HSE to include all requirements in tender documents and issue RFQs via SAP Ariba.
• Prepare bid summaries, conduct commercial negotiations, and recommend awards to the Project SCM Manager.
• Manage award documentation, create purchase orders in SAP, and secure signatures through DocuSign.
• Develop and monitor the Project Procurement Plan, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Define convergence plans for purchase orders, track progress, and resolve delays through audits, KOMs, and PPMs.
• Serve as the primary contact for suppliers on commercial, contractual, and progress matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing procurement of complex engineered materials or services.
• Strong understanding of project scope, delivery schedules, budgets, and contractual flow‑downs.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and drive issue resolution.
