Senior Sheetfed Printer

About the role

The Senior Sheetfed Printer is responsible for ensuring high‑quality output on sheetfed printing presses in a fast‑paced production environment. The role combines precise monitoring of print parameters with proactive maintenance to guarantee consistent colour and defect‑free runs. You will work closely with the technical team to document performance and address any equipment issues promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain print consistency throughout the run by monitoring ink density, registration and paper feed accuracy and adjusting settings to avoid colour shifts or defects.
• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as roller cleaning, blanket replacement, lubrication and mechanical component inspection, documenting activities and reporting abnormalities.
• Control ink‑water balance during production, fine‑tuning dampening systems and ink flow to prevent scumming, toning or emulsification and ensure consistent colour fidelity.
