About the role
We are seeking a Senior Site Architect to lead the supervision and quality control of finishing works on high‑rise projects, from the finishes stage through to handover. The role demands a proactive professional who can manage multiple trades, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with design and authority requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee construction from finishes stage to completion, ensuring adherence to contract drawings and specifications.
- Supervise and quality‑check contractor work on blockworks, plaster, cladding, joinery, aluminium, and other finishes.
- Attend and support site meetings, coordinate main and sub‑contractors, and distribute necessary information.
- Conduct weekly site visits, produce site‑visit reports and non‑conformance reports (NCRs).
- Review IFC and CAD drawings before release to site and propose modifications when required.
- Manage submittal logs across all disciplines, ensuring timely distribution and release.
- Register site changes, assess cost and time impacts, and communicate concerns.
- Maintain awareness of local authority regulations and ensure contractor compliance.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (architecture, interior, landscape, structure, MEP) and resolve design clashes.
- Develop and track action lists, working closely with the Project Engineer to resolve issues promptly.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Extensive experience in supervision consultancy for super‑high‑rise buildings.
- Proven ability to manage construction from finishes stage to handover.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience reviewing material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
- Familiarity with authority approval processes.
