Senior Site Engineer (Joinery)

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a Senior Site Engineer (Joinery) in Dubai. The role handles direct work carried out on site by the main contractor, supervises work done by sub-contractors and assists the project engineer with specific duties.

Key responsibilities

• Follow safety regulations and help implement them on site
• Oversee building work and survey sites
• Solve problems and give technical advice
• Check and prepare site reports
• Liaise with other engineers, surveyors, clients and sub-contractors
• Be aware of all project drawings and specifications
• Read, interpret and follow method statements, procedures, specifications, drawings and other project documentation
• Ensure HSE and quality policies are enforced and report violations promptly

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or another related engineering field
• Minimum 5 years of significant experience in industrial, commercial or residential construction
• Knowledge of civil and structural codes and other codes used on the project
• Able to control a multi-national workforce in a dynamic situation
• Excellent oral and written English and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in all outdoor weather and site conditions
