Senior Site Reliability Engineer – Remote (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join a next‑generation platform that powers AI‑driven services for a global employment infrastructure. Based in the United Arab Emirates and working fully remote, you will own the reliability, scalability, and security of highly distributed, async‑first systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code solutions using Terraform and Kubernetes for repeatable, secure deployments.
• Build and operate observability stacks, including monitoring, logging and alerting, and lead incident response and post‑mortems.
• Embed security and compliance controls into infrastructure and operational workflows to meet global regulatory requirements.
• Analyze performance and cloud‑cost data to continuously optimise system reliability and efficiency.
• Automate repetitive tasks and develop tooling that reduces manual toil for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and security teams to improve APIs, deployment pipelines and developer experience.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or Systems Engineering with a proven track record of operating production systems at scale.
• Hands‑on expertise in operating resilient, distributed systems on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Strong ownership mindset, capable of driving reliability end‑to‑end.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote, highly distributed environment.
