Senior Software Engineer - AV SW Desktop

About the role

EDGE is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for its ADASI business unit, working on software for test equipment, simulations and UAV support. The work location is Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Develop desktop and server software, including the Integration Bench, Test Bench and Ground Control System.
• Document, test and review developed software to ensure a high-quality end product.
• Support system qualification.
• Work closely with specialists in a multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering or B.Sc. in Computer Science.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a software development environment.
• Previous experience in an aeronautics engineering environment.
• Familiarity with the system engineering and software development process.
• Willingness to write code.

Required skills

• Solid programming experience in C++.
• Good knowledge of coding techniques and design patterns.
• Good software design, problem-solving and debugging skills.
